Garrett was named after Leroy Garrett, who is still living in Denton, TX. Every year, we try to visit him, especially to make sure that we have documented memories of Garrett meeting his namesake.
Garrett's grandparents got to come with us this time. They know Dr. Garrett, too, so it was really neat for them to experience the visit as well.
