Stats: The bathroom scale says you weigh 22 pounds. Your mommy's arms agree. You're still in the same size clothing (mostly 12 month, some 18 month).
Eating: You are still nursing about 5 times a day and eating 3 solid meals. The new foods you've added this month are: egg yolk, asparagus, yogurt, mango, and Cheerios. :)
downward dog?
Sleeping: Your best bedtime is 8:30pm. You sleep until 7am. You take two naps a day. You usually sleep about 2.5 hours for your first nap and about 2 hours for your second nap...if we're home...and not traveling. :)
playing with Grandpa Stan
- You are super-playful and keep getting more and more fun! You love mirrors because you think there's another baby to play with:
- You now also crawl with your right foot planted on the floor. You look like a cave man. It's hilarious. You can see it at the end of this video:
- You still have just your two teeth.
- You are pulling up on everything and I really have to watch you!
- You fell at small group and got your first injury as your mouth was bleeding a little. :(
You are being manhandled by your relatives in Peoria.
- You are starting to cruise a little...especially around your activity table.
- You have been to a new state - ARKANSAS - to visit friends in Searcy and Sherwood. You also went to Chicago again this month.
reading with Grandma Lois at the library
- You are bringing back some other consonants instead of just "dadada" all the time.
- You love books and are getting to where you can open them:
- I just LOVE your belly laughs. On this video, you and cousin Paul were really having a good time:
- You rode your first train!
Dear Garrett,
You are so joyful, so sweet, and so active! You love your stackable rings. You will take them around the house with you. (Do you know where the red one is?) You also love to read. You cry when I don't immediately pick up another book to read to you in the mornings. You love your daddy's songs and riding on his shoulders. You are a good eater, except you get distracted very easily. You crawl to the laundry basket and get your socks out so you can carry them around in your mouth like a puppy dog. You also pant like a puppy dog when you get excited about something. It's just so cute. We love you so very much and are excited about what this next month with you brings.
Love,
Mamamama & Dadadada

Garrett is getting SO BIG - and cuter and cuter by the minute! Max has recently started the caveman crawl, as you call it. Clay has affectionately dubbed him "Peg Leg Max" - ha!
