Ruby's board. :)

This new board was for Kent and Amber Brantly. Check out her blog on my sidebar. :) They moved to Ft. Worth for Kent's residency, and a bunch of us friends from ACU met up at Spring Creek BBQ the other day to welcome them back to Texas. This pic from Amber's blog was the inspiration for the design. Kent told me they had mint green, yellow, and pink in their nursery. I had already painted the pink and light yellow on the board but wasn't inspired yet until I went back to the blog and found this amazing quilt picture with these cute flowers. And voila!
I really enjoyed meeting Amber for the first time and especially holding little Ruby. She's adorable! And she's a talker, too! She just makes the cutest noises all the time. I know they're having so much fun with her and I know they make such great parents. Many blessings to you, Brantlys!

Thanks Laura! The board matches the quilt remarkably. And Ruby love it. :) It was great seeing so many old familiar faces again. Hopefully it won't be another 5 years before we all see each other again.

Um...how cute!!! How much to make one for me? You'd have to BOY it up a little, though. :)
