We began our Halloween weekend by participating in our church's first ever Trunk or Treat. Our car was a treasure chest and we were pirates. The kids had to say, "Open Sesame" for the treasure chest to open, and Eric reminded them, "Take only one piece of candy or ye'll have to walk the plank!" Funny, the kids wanted our Monopoly money and Mardi Gras necklaces more than they wanted the candy! Maybe next year we'll give out non-candy options. :)
Here we are with our favorite girls at church, Reagan, Sophie, and Delany. Love you girls!

Saturday night, we went to a party with our class at church. Here I am, 30 minutes before we have to leave, carving a pumpkin...notice I don't even have my costume on yet!

Mmmmmm, roasted pumpkin seeds!

Here we go -- Family Portrait! We named him Hector (well,
Allison named him Hector), and he has a bandana just like ours. You can't see my costume very well, but you may recognize it as being my ballet costume from the spring... I knew it'd come in handy! By the way, Eric is a Software Pirate... ha!

You tell em, Hector!
